We are always proud to see our apprentices gaining both experience and qualifications. So, we are delighted to announce that apprentice Ellis Mosson has recently passed his NVQ Level 3 End-point Assessment for Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Technician Combined Fire and Security pathway.
It means that Ellis is now a fully qualified engineer, having spent four years combining on-the-job training with college learning.
Ellis joined Justice Fire & Security back in 2018 as an 18-year-old, straight after leaving sixth form, and has been a dedicated and hard-working member of our team since the day he started.
Speaking of his qualification, he said it had been hugely beneficial to develop the skills required to be a fully-fledged security engineer, both in a real-life working environment and in an educational setting. “The company has provided me with this opportunity and I am very appreciative,” said Ellis. “The Level 3 qualification is important. It allows me to broaden my goals and I can now look to undertake further training and consider different paths, in order to better myself as a security systems engineer.”
Throughout his apprenticeship Ellis has worked on a wide range of installations across Justice Fire & Security’s growing client base throughout Birmingham, Wolverhampton and the wider West Midlands, including Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
Like many of the Justice team, Ellis is Aston Villa FC through and through! In his spare time, when not supporting his favourite team, Ellis also plays football and is also an avid music fan.
