Our sales administrator, Becky Sanders, will certainly be a familiar point of contact for many of our clients - especially during the period of national lockdown.
Becky is an important cog in the Justice Fire and Security machine, with responsibility for processing sales orders, handling customer
enquiries and being an important point of liaison, as well as providing support for our field sales team.
She joined the company two years ago, initially on the surveying admin side before moving into her sales role in 2020. And, like so
many of our staff, has spent the majority of the last 12 months working from home, ensuring that clients receive an uninterrupted
service.
For those who may have spotted that Becky carries the same surname as company founder Dave Sanders, that’s because they are father
and daughter. Dave established the business more than 30 years ago and Becky remembers being brought into the office as a little
girl. “And here I am, all these years later, working here, albeit from home currently,” she said.
Mind you, her initial employment was somewhat unexpected. Having graduated from university with a degree in Design for Theatre Performance
and Events, Becky was working elsewhere in the Birmingham area, when she was asked to cover for a member of staff away on maternity
leave. “I didn’t think at that point that it would lead to where it has today, but I’m absolutely loving my job and having the
daily interaction with clients across our network is very rewarding,” she added.
Once lockdown ends, the plan is for Becky to spend more time out on the road, assisting with site security system surveys. “I have
learnt so much from working with Steve Grant and Trevor Hipkiss, so it will be great to actually visit sites and provide support
to them when it is required.”
In her spare time, following on from her uni days, Becky likes to help out friends in the arts with designing stage sets, as well as creating notepads and calendars in support of diabetes awareness.
