Given the nature of our work, it’s virtually impossible to assemble our entire vehicle fleet in one place at one time. But, on this particular morning, we were able to gather together quite a few of our Service Team– with wheels – for this group picture at our West Midlands Head Office in Castle Vale, Birmingham.
Recently, we’ve added two new vehicles to the squad and replaced a further two. The entire fleet is actually changed completely over a four-year period – so nothing is driven beyond a period of 48 months.
The vehicles you see here service our entire customer catchment area, which is predominantly (though not exclusively) within a 50-mile radius of Birmingham - from Wolverhampton to Coventry, Staffordshire to Northampton, Worcestershire to Shropshire and everywhere in between.
To ensure we respond to the needs of our commercial and domestic security customers as quickly as possible, each vehicle is equipped with tracking. This means, that for call-outs, the nearest service vehicle to the premises in question can be assigned.
In addition to the vehicles displayed, mindful of keeping carbon emissions to a minimum, we have also introduced one electric and one hybrid vehicle. Looking ahead, the plan is to acquire further electric vehicles in 2022.
